Abstract: У статті розглянуто особливості дитячої книжкової графіки як важливого засобу візуальної комунікації. Проаналізовано функції ілюстрацій, їхній вплив на сприйняття тексту дітьми різного віку. Окрему увагу приділено виразності художніх образів, кольоровим рішенням та стилістиці. Визначено критерії ефективності ілюстративного оформлення дитячих видань.
The article examines the features of children's book graphics as an important means of visual communication. The functions of illustrations and their influence on the perception of text by children of different ages are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the expressiveness of artistic images, color solutions and stylistics. Criteria for the effectiveness of illustrative design of children's publications are determined.
